Got invited to speak at the APHA conference in October. APHA stands for American Public Health Association. My husband and I will be speaking under the APHA Committee for Women’s Rights Program.

I can’t wait for the chance to present our new round of research involving over 1000 Secondary School girls in 6 slums in Nairobi. ( Actually by the time of the conference that number will rise by many more thousand.) In the latest study, in one school, it looks like 6 months after taking our classes the incidence of rape dropped to zero…. O.M.G. Makes me want to learn to play the trumpet!
It’s all about the Self-Defense strategies that women have been developing for the past 40 years. They really and truly work – we just need to prove it definitively, undeniably, creditably, legitimately and FINALLY!
