Lee Paiva, President
Lee Paiva is founder and Executive Director of No Means No Worldwide, a dual gender violence intervention and prevention program. For the past 10 years Lee has been working in the 6 largest slums of Nairobi developing the IMpower training system for women and children in extreme risk environments. In 2013 Lee partnered with researchers at Stanford University to form the GBV Prevention Collaborative. She has co – authored five scientific articles about the efficacy of IMpower classes in cutting rape and pregnancy related school drop out in half. Lee also founded Sexual Assault Survivors Anonymous for survivors ages 5 and up. Ms Paiva is an award winning writer, a Mulago Fellow. Her work has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ESPN and too many other media outlets to mention. She lives in San Francisco and Rhode Island.
