The No Means No Worldwide Approach
NO MEANS NO CURRICULA
No Means No Instructors teach girls mental, verbal and physical skills to prevent sexual assault. Boys learn resiliency skills, challenge rape culture, and practice consent and bystander intervention skills. Gender specific curricula are 12 hours taught in six class sessions.
NETWORK REFERRAL
Disclosure rates rise during No Means No classes. NMNW connects with local aftercare providers to create a vetted network of referral partners (e.g. medical, legal, psychosocial). Students are linked to these local services to get the help they need.
SURVIVORS IN RECOVERY ANONYMOUS (SIRA)
SIRA is a low-cost survivor-focused 12 step program of recovery usually delivered in areas where no aftercare resources exist. No Means No Instructors organize and lead SIRA groups for those who disclose an assault and want to heal.
