We live in a world where 1 in 3 women experience sexual violence in their lifetime. Approximately 15 million adolescent girls (aged 15 to 19) worldwide have experienced forced sex at some point in their life. Meanwhile 1 in 6 men experience sexual abuse or assault in their lifetime, often during childhood. Each of these statistics is a real person, dealing with the mental, physical, and social outcomes of these horrible acts.
You can say “No!” to this status-quo. You can provide youth with the tools they need to keep themselves and others safe, now and in the future. By providing youth with No Means No training, you can make a difference: they will understand their rights, recognize healthy boundaries, and have the ability to escape or defend themselves if necessary.

Our group of monthly givers, The Upstanders, is composed of people like you, who believe that sexual violence is unacceptable. We want to provide every young person with the mental, verbal, and physical skills to prevent and interrupt sexual violence against themselves and others. Because together, we can create a violence-free future.
No Means No programs are locally-led and tailored to the needs of youth in local communities. Upstander’s gifts help to fill in any funding gaps that may arise, and ensure that our programs are sustainable and effective.
