Digital Self-Defense

The threats have moved online. So have we.

Tech-facilitated sexual violence is a growing threat to youth everywhere.

Online grooming, image-based abuse, and digital harassment are putting young people at risk in the same spaces they use to connect, learn, and play. The consequences reach into their mental health and wellbeing.

Our own research found troublingly high rates of technology-facilitated sexual violence among the adolescents we work with.

Same skills, new setting.

No Means No has always taught young people to Think, Yell, Run, Fight, and Tell. We're applying that same framework to digital self-defense.

We've piloted a technology-facilitated sexual violence module alongside our core curriculum, and now we're building on what we learned to develop a dedicated digital self-defense program. This work is ongoing, and we're seeking partners to help us bring it to more young people.
