Annie Jones holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout her time at UIUC, she worked with the Women’s Resources Center to teach incoming students about sexual assault prevention on campus. This passion for ending gender-based violence led her to join the Peace Corps in Ethiopia. During her time in Ethiopia, she facilitated workshops about sexual violence, reproductive health, and challenging gender norms. She is determined to live in a world without sexual assault, and is beyond excited work with NMNW to make that a reality!
